Founded by Rod Coe in 1995, Yankee RV Tours has been offering fun RV adventures ever since its first tour to the Canadian Maritimes. Today Yankee RV hosts destination rallies and expedition caravans across North America.

Since his first Caravan, as a customer, in 1983 through Mexico's Copper Canyon on the "piggy back" tour, Rod has been involved with guiding RV tours. He took their staff training trip to Alaska in 1987. In Rod's own words, "I had a great time and was impressed by how excited the other caravaners were about going on hosted adventures."

The average campground stay is 3-days; RV drives to the next campground are about 140 miles. Departures are usually at 9:00 A.M. You may travel at your own pace or enjoy the narrations of the wagon master via your VHF long-range radio.

An average travel day is 135 miles, average stays are 2.7 days, you travel at your own pace with the added value of an experienced staff guide/wagon master and staff tail ender/mechanic. On this journey you will make friends, some for life. Happy Trails to you!

Each January Yankee offers an optional annual reunion and orientation gathering for former and future caravaners in Florida. There are seminars on each caravan, where you can meet your tour staff and most of the people signed up to travel with you. You get an opportunity to ask questions and talk with others that have taken the tour. We also have catered meals, entertainment, and fellowship. What a great way to get a running start on your upcoming trip.
