RV adventures ever since its first tour to the Canadian Maritimes.
Today Yankee RV
hosts caravan to The Canadian
Maritimes, The
Upper Great Lakes, and The
Fall Foliage of Quebec.
Since his first Caravan, as a customer, in 1983 through Mexico's Copper
Canyon on the "piggy back" tour, Rod has been involved with guiding RV
tours. He and Nola took their staff training trip to Alaska in 1987. In
Rod's own words, "I had a great time and was impressed by how excited
the other caravaners were about going on hosted adventures."
Yankee tours average 20 RV's plus 2 staff units per caravan. The
average RV drive is about 130 miles. Departures are usually at 9:00
A.M. They offer a package that includes your camping site, lots of
meals (we don't do pot lucks) escorted tours, entertainment and the use
of the tail ender mechanic and wagon master host.
Yankee RV
does the back roads of America and Canada and their motto is, "The
Adventure Continues!"
Tours are valued priced. The Coes consult to 12 major RV camping
resorts and in return are permitted to conduct seminars on caravaning.
Thus, they do not pass on the high cost of national advertising to
their customer. Over 60% of our caravaners are repeat customers.

Each January Yankee offers an optional annual re-union and orientation gathering for former and future caravaners in Florida. This year's re-union: Jan. 4-5-6, 2011. Kissimme South Resort, 3700 Hwy 17-92 N. Davenport, FL 33837. There are seminars on each caravan, where you can meet your tour staff and most of the people signed up to travel with you. You get an opportunity to ask questions and talk with others that have taken the tour. We also have catered meals, entertainment, and fellowship. What a great way to get a running start on your upcoming trip.
